Martin has been involved with the display industry for thirty years as a POPAI board member, Head of Insight, Sustainability director and Chair.

Responsible for Sustainability since 2019 he has defined POPAI’s offer including developing the Sustain® environmental design calculator now widely used in the UK and overseas. He re-launched the POPAI Sustainability Standard for corporate accreditation, set up the Sustainability council representing all sectors of the industry and has developed POPAI’s sustainability upskilling programme.

He has spoken extensively around the world on many aspects of the display industry, sustainability and shopper insight.
